ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's swimming and diving team fell to SUNY Geneseo, 206-94, on Saturday evening.

Nickie Griesemer won both the one meter and three meter diving events and was the lone Bomber to win more than one event.
Â
In the one meter dive, Griesemer scored a total of 263.55 points, edging out SUNY Geneseo's Samantha Reichman, who finished second with 261.35 points.
Â
Katie Helly finished in third, recording a score of 244.85 while
Alyssa Wishart took fourth with 237.40 points.
Â
Griesemer won the three meter dive with 306.55, tallying just over 26 more points than Reichman, who took second again.
Â
Helly finished in third with 279.10 points while Wishart took fourth with a score of 260.40 and
Lindsey Suddaby took fifth with 250.65 points.

In the first event of the day, the 400 yard medley, the team of
Paige Landers,
Ashley Warren, Jackie Pecze and
Caroline Bissailon had the highest finish for the Bombers, taking third with a time of 4:12.34.

Freshman
Morgan Hoffman-Smith took third in the 1000 yard freestyle, finishing in 11:03.49.
Katie Conte finished in fourth place, swimming to a time of 11:24.83.

The Bombers earned just one point in the 200 yard freestyle.
Genevieve Tripler finished in fifth place with a time of 2:05.93.

Hoffman-Smith was Ithaca's top finisher in the 100 yard backstroke, taking third place with a time of 1:03.54. Pecze earned fourth, swimming to a time of 1:03.69.

In the 100 yard breaststroke,
Gabrielle Humphrey finished in third place, swimming to a time of 1:13.24 while
Angelina Domena took fifth with a time of 1:15.46.

Nilza Costa won the first individual swimming race for the Bombers in the 200 yard butterfly, swimming to a time of 2:17.54.
Kaitlyn Scott finished in third place with a time of 2:22.33 while
Emily Altchiler took fifth with a time of 2:23.13.

In the 50 yard freestyle, Tripler finished in second place with a final time of 25.20 and was the lone Bomber to place in the top five.
Â
Tripler also came in second in the 100 yard freestyle, swimming to a time of 56.31. Costa earned fifth place with a time of 57.61.

Landers was the top finisher for Ithaca in the 200 yard backstroke, taking fifth with a time of 2:20.73.

In the 200 yard breaststroke, Warren took first place with a final time of 2:31.96 while Humphrey earned fifth, swimming to a time of 2:37.15.

Hoffman-Smith was the top finisher for the Bombers in the 500 yard freestyle, finishing in second place with a time of 5:25.21, behind Geneseo's Alida Mooney.

Two Ithaca swimmers earned points in the 100 yard butterfly. Pecze finished in third with a final time of 1:01.25 and Costa took fourth in 1:03.25.

Warren took fourth in the 200 yard IM with a time of 2:20.51 to earn points for the Bombers.

In the final women's event of the day, the 200 yard freestyle, the Bombers' best finish was second place. The team of Hoffman-Smith, Pecze, Bissailon and Tripler swam to a time of 1:50.83, finishing just behind Geneseo's first-place team.

Ithaca is back in action on December 1-3 when it hosts the Bomber Invitational. Action will begin in the evening on Friday, December 1 and wrap up in the afternoon on Sunday.
