SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's swimming and diving team topped Le Moyne 178-120 on Friday evening.

Both
Morgan Hoffman-Smith and
Jaclyn Pecze won two events to help lead the Bombers to victory.
Â
Ithaca opened things up with a win the 200 yard medley relay. The team of Hoffman-Smith,
Ashley Warren, Pecze and Genny Tripler swam to a time of 1:53.30, edging Le Moyne's second-place team by just .44 seconds.

Paige Landers,
Gabrielle Humphrey,
Kelsey Jepsen and
Caroline Bissailon finished in third with a time of 1:57.43.

In the 1,000 yard freestyle, Hoffman-Smith won her first individual event of the meet, swimming to a time of 11:04.31 to take first.

Tori Eastham was the top Bombers' finisher in the 200 yard freestyle, taking second with a time of 2:05.35 while
Angelina Domena earned third with a time of 2:06.29.
Katie Conte took fifth, swimming to a time of 2:07.15.

The Bombers were victorious in the 100 yard backstroke, with Pecze taking first in 1:03.16. Landers came in third with a time of 1:04.61 and
Emma Whitney finished in fifth with a time of 1:07.34.

Humphrey was the top finisher for Ithaca in the 100 yard breaststroke, taking third place with a time of 1:13.46.

Senior
Nilza Costa took second in the 200 yard butterfly, swimming to a time of 2:18.83. Jepsen finished in fourth with a 2:21.16 mark while
Kaitlyn Scott took fifth with a time of 2:25.36.

In the 50 yard freestyle, Tripler was the Bombers' top finisher, taking second in 25.45. Bissailon was not far behind in third, finishing with a time of 25.72.

Tripler also took second in the 100 yard freestyle, finished with a time of 55.96. Bissailon finished in third place, swimming to a time of 57.15 while Domena finished with a time of 58.27 for fourth place.

In the 200 yard backstroke, Landers took first for the Bombers, finishing the race in 2:17.85. Eastham earned fourth place with a time of 2:21.70 while Whitney finished in fifth with a time of 2:28.06.

The Bombers took the top two spots in the 200 yard breaststroke. Warren finished in first, swimming to a time of 2:32.45 while Humphrey took second with a time of 237.02.

Hoffman-Smith won her second individual race of the day, taking first in the 500 yard freestyle with a time of 5:23.96. Costa finished in second, swimming to a time of 5:27.25.
Pecze then won her second individual race of the day, taking first in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 1:01.41.
Alex Estanislau finished in third place with a time of 1:04.70.

In the 200 yard IM, Warren was the top Bombers' finisher, taking second place with a time of 2:20.12. Domena came in third, swimming to a time of 2:22.34 while Jepsen took fourth with a time of 2:22.57.

The Bombers finished the day off with a win in the 400 yard freestyle relay. The team of Bissailon, Hoffman-Smith, Pecze and Tripler finished in 3:44.84 to take the top spot.

Ithaca's team of Scott, Costa, Landers and
Josie Berman came in second, swimming to a time of 3:50.15.

In diving action,
Alyssa Wishart won the first 1 meter dive with a total score of 188.15.
Lindsey Suddaby finished in second with a point total of 181.30 while
Jocelyn Pawcio took fourth with 147.75 points.

In the second one meter dive, Suddaby took first with a 267.25 mark. Wishart finished in second with a score of 232.90 and Pawcio took third with a total of 199.15.

The Bombers are back in action next weekend, on Saturday, November 18 against SUNY Geneseo and Hartwick at home at 5 p.m.
