Last Time Out
Ithaca continued its offensive surge in its latest contest when it bested Wells College 8-0 in a midweek matinee this past Tuesday. IC posted a 44-to-5 advantage in shot attempts, putting 33 of those on cage in the blowout win. The shot total was Ithaca's highest since a 62-shot performance in a 9-0 win over Morrisville State on September 7, 2013.

Keegan-Twombly Paces Conference
Thanks to her two-goal output in the victory over Wells College, senior forward,
Colleen Keegan-Twombly, jumped back into the top spot on the conference's scoring chart with 20 points on the year. The Kingston, N.Y., product has tallied at least one point in five of her last six contests and in six of Ithaca's eight games on the year. She has recorded multi-goal efforts in back-to-back games entering Saturday's contest with the Cardinals.
Â
First-Time Scorers
The Bombers had two players record the first goals of their respective collegiate careers in Tuesday's contest. Sophomore,
Meg Dowd, ended up double-dipping, scoring her first career goal in the first half and adding a second tally in the second session against the Express. Freshman,
Kendall Keil, capped the scoring with her first tally with 6:35 to go.

Shutout Streak
Although the offense has been humming to the tune of 18 goals over the last three games, the IC defense has been equally impressive over that stretch. Ithaca notched its third consecutive shutout and fourth total on the year in the 8-0 win over Wells. The Bombers have a current shutout streak that has lasted 210-minutes and 10 seconds dating back to the conclusion of the Stevens contest on Saturday, September 17.

Scouting St. John Fisher
The Cardinals are off to an excellent start to the 2016 season, entering Saturday with a 7-2 overall record and an unblemished 3-0 mark in Empire 8 play. Fisher has been especially strong of late, winning each of its last five contests and conceding just two goals over that stretch. The team is led offensively by Emily Markarian who ranks third in the conference with 18 points on seven goals and four assists. Lauren Fazio is right on her heels with 17 points on seven goals and three helpers. Ashley Maynard is the team's top keeper, ranking first in the conference in goals-against average (0.587) and second in save percentage (.857).
