Last Time Out
The Ithaca College field hockey team suffered a heart-breaker in its latest contest, coming up just short in a 2-1 loss at Stevens this past Saturday. The Bombers battled back from an early one-goal deficit to tie the game with just under 15 minutes remaining; however, the Ducks earned two successive penalty corners with under a minute remaining in regulation. Stevens' Nolie Prouty chipped home a loose ball out of a scrum in front of the Ithaca cage with 10 seconds left to deal IC the last-minute loss.

Schultz Scores First
Sophomore,
Viktoria Schultz, joined in on the scoring act this past Saturday when she scored her first goal of the season. Transition offense has been key in the early going of the Bombers 2016 season and Schultz found herself on the finishing end of another fast-break two-on-one opportunity to tie the game with the Ducks at 1-1. Schultz became the team's fifth player to find the cage this season, as IC continues to showcase its scoring depth beyond go-to option
Colleen Keegan-Twombly.

Donohue Distribution
A key in Ithaca's offensive breakout over recent contests has been the play of forward
Michaela Donohue, The junior has been instrumental in facilitating the attack in the offensive third of the field. She provided the excellent pass, which Schultz tapped in for the Bombers game-tying goal against the Ducks. The assist was her fourth of the season, elevating Donohue to second in the conference rankings for the statistic. She has recorded at least one assist in three consecutive games and will look to extend the streak against the Highlanders on Wednesday.

Scouting Houghton
The Highlanders enter Wednesday afternoon's contest against the Bombers with an overall record of 4-2, which includes a 1-1 mark in Empire 8 play. Houghton stretched its modest winning streak to two games when it secured its first win in conference play this past a weekend, a 1-0 triumph on the road at Elmira. The Houghton offense is powered by Tonya Hatton. The sophomore forward paces the Empire 8 in both points (16) and goals (8), which includes back-to-back hat tricks against Wells and Keuka earlier this season. Kelsie Ashley has been on the passing end of several of those Hatton finishes, as she ranks second in the E8 with 12 points and paces the league with six assists.
