ITHACA, N.Y. —The Ithaca College women's lacrosse team returned home to Higgins Stadium for its Empire 8 conference opener, and the Bombers earned its third straight win, 22-1 over Elmira College Wednesday afternoon.
Senior
Riley Marion set a career-high for goals (seven) and points (eight), while junior
Morgan Racicot added one goal with three assists to power the Bombers (4-2, 1-0).
Senior
Mackenzie Robinson and freshman Ally Panara each added three goals, while sophomore
Eve Mahaney handed out two assists and scored a goal in the win, IC's 10th straight triumph against the Soaring Eagles (1-3, 0-1).

Julia Silvestri each added two goals as the Bombers set a season-high for goals in a game. It was Ithaca's highest scoring output since a 22-5 home win over Hartwick College April 3, 2015.
Panara converted on three of four free-position shots, while both of Silvestri's tallies came on the free position as Ithaca scored eight free-position goals on 12 attempts.

Maggie Wise won three draw controls and caused two turnovers, as did junior

Jayne Carver.

Emily Ross started in goal and did not allow a goal in the first half while making two saves. Sophomore
Kimberly Presuto came on in the second and allowed one goal while making four saves.
Ithaca enjoyed a 36-9 edge in shots, won 16 of 26 draw controls, and held a 22-16 edge in groundballs.
Neither team scored during the first 3:30, but Marion's first goal sparked Ithaca on a 15-0 run to start the contest.Â
Marion scored six goals during the first 14:45, Panara added a pair of goals, and Racicot, Silvestri, Robinson, and junior
Morgan Cadwell each added a goal during the run.
Lates, Panara, and freshman
Erin McGee each added goals late in the first as IC took a 15-0 lead into halftime and cruised to the win.
The Bombers travel to Stevens Institute of Technology for an 11 a.m. Empire 8 clash Saturday morning before returning to host SUNY Geneseo at 4 p.m. March 30.Â
