ITHACA, N.Y. –
The nationally-ranked Ithaca College women's swimming and diving team extended its season-opening winning streak to eight as the Bombers defeated both Hartwick College, 232-68, and SUNY Geneseo, 162-138, on Sunday as part of a tri-meet inside the A&E Center Aquatics Pavilion.

Grace Ayer, Samantha Reilly, Jaclyn Pecze and Lake Duffy got things going for Ithaca with a win in the 200 medley relay as the quartet finished first overall with a winning time of 1:47.56.  The Bombers would later finish as runner-up in the 200 freestyle relay as Erin Hackett, Genevieve Tripler, Pecze and Duffy wrapped up the race in 1:40.22.

Duffy would add a pair of top finishes in individual competition as well after the senior won both the 50 and 100 free.  In the 50, Duffy notched a winning time of 24.27 before finishing the 100 in 53.25.

In the 100 breaststroke, Ithaca earned the top three spots.  Reilly won the event after touching the wall in 1:07.22 while Ashley Warren (1:09.11) and Hannah Parbst (1:10.62) finished second and third, respectively.
