Box Score ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's lacrosse team defeated Nazareth, 11-6,  in an Empire 8 semifinal game. Ithaca's win improves its overall record to 11-7. The victory allows Ithaca to advance to the conference finals on Sunday, May 3rd where they will face St. John Fisher at noon. That game will be played at Nazareth College.
The Bombers never trailed over 60 minutes of play against the Golden Flyers.
Junior
Riley Marion ignited the Bombers' offense with a free-position goal at 27:13 in the first half. Nazareth went on to tie the game, 1-1, with 24:32 left in the first half.
Ithaca extended its lead 4-1 with 14 minutes left in the first half. Nazareth put two past the Bombers' defense, making the score 4-3 with 10 minutes left to play in first half.
Ithaca led 7-3 at the half after three unanswered goals.
The Bombers executed on four shots in the final half
 of the game, while the Golden Flyers netted two shots in the final period.
JuniorÂ
Ally Runyon led the team with three goals.
Natalie Lang,
Morgan Cadwell and Marion each added two goals on the day.
Seniors
Emily Peters and
Niki Standera each scored one goal against Nazareth.
Lang scooped a team-high six groundballs. Runyon and
Erika Johnson each recorded three groundballs in the game.
Sophomore goalieÂ
Emily Ross made seven saves in the win.
Ithaca led Nazareth 27-20 in shots and held a decisive edge of 26 groundballs to the Golden Flyers' 16. The Bombers were successful on 8-of-14 clear opportunities.
