Box Score ITHACA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's lacrosse team got off to a fast start and cruised to a 16-6 victory over visiting Nazareth on Saturday at Higgins Stadium. Ithaca led 3-0 in the first three minutes and held a 7-1 lead after just 13 minutes of play. Ithaca improved to 6-6 overall and 3-2 in the Empire 8. Nazareth suffered its first Empire 8 loss and is 3-1 in the conference, and the Golden Flyers are 8-3 overall.

Morgan Cadwell scored twice and
Niki Standera scored once in Ithaca's initial surge. After a Nazareth goal, the Bombers scored five in a row. Five different players hit the back of the net in that run. Ithaca led 8-2 at halftime.

Nazareth pulled to within four goals on two occasions in the second half, but Ithaca closed with the last six goals of the game.

Kimberly Presuto made 11 saves and picked up her second victory of the season.

Cadwell led Ithaca with four goals.
Ally Runyon and
Natalie Lang scored three each.
Emily Peters had a goal and two assists. Ithaca scored on 3-of-5 free-position shots. The Bombers had a 25-20 advantage in shots and a 13-11 advantage in draw controls.
