Box Score CLERMONT, Fla.—The Ithaca College women's lacrosse team dropped a close game to Dickinson on Wednesday, March 11
 in Clermont Fla . Ithaca fell 10-9 to the Red Devils at the National Training Center. The Bombers are now 1-3 on the season and Dickinson improves to 3-0.
Dickinson received votes in the latest IWCLA Weekly Poll and Ithaca remains 18th in the ranking.
Dickinson sprang ahead with three goals in the opening six minutes of the first half. The Bombers responded with a free-position goal by
Morgan Racicot at 13:57. Dickinson extended the lead 5-1 at 11:36.
Molly Fischer countered with a free position goal at 9:31 to start a three-goal rally for Ithaca.
Ally Lates finished on a pass from Racicot at 6:15, to make the score 5-3.
Ally Runyon registered an unassisted goal to pull within one, 5-4, with 5:42 left in the half.
The Bombers entered halftime trailing the Red Devils 7-4.
Runyon found the back of the net just one minute and six seconds into the second half to bring the Bombers back within two. After two more Dickinson goals, Runyon scored again on an assist from
Riley Marion at 18:58. In the next six minutes,
Natalie Lang recorded two goals and Marion snuck one past the Red Devils' defense, having Ithaca trail 9-8 at 12:23.
Dickinson scored one final time at 11:10 and Racicot answered back at 8:14 on a feed from Fischer. Racicot's goal was the last goal of the game made by either team.
Goalie
Emily Ross recorded 10 saves in the first half for Ithaca. Freshman
Kimberly Presuto started the second half in goal for the Bombers and made five saves.
Ally Runyon led Ithaca with three goals.
Morgan Racicot tallied two goals and an assist.
The Bombers edged the Red Devils 12-9 in draw controls and successfully cleared the ball on 11-of-13 attempts.
Ithaca returns home March 18 to take on Oneonta at 4 p.m. at Higgins Stadium.
