Box Score CORTLAND, N.Y. – The No. 4 Ithaca College women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to Rochester Saturday afternoon in the first game of the Upstate Collegiate Cup. The loss pushes the Bombers' record to 3-1-0 on the season.

Jess Demczar led the Bombers with four total shots and two shots on goal. Junior goalkeeper
Beth Coppolecchia made five saves on seven Rochester shots. Ithaca matched the Yellowjackets' shot count at 10, and generated six corner kicks to Rochester's one.

The Yellowjackets got on the board first with a goal at 16:55 of the opening half, giving Rochester the 1-0 lead. Both goalkeepers were perfect for the remainder of the frame, sending the game to halftime at 1-0 in favor of the Yellowjackets.

Rochester added an insurance marker in 70th minute to put them up by a score of 2-0. The Bombers pressured in the closing minutes, but were unable to sneak a goal past the Rochester keeper, giving the Yellowjackets the 2-0 victory.

The 2-0 decision sends the Bombers to the third place game, where they will battle Cortland. Rochester will play William Smith in the Upstate Collegiate Cup finals. The Herons defeated Cortland by a score of 3-1 earlier in the day to advance to the finals. Ithaca's game against Cortland is scheduled for an 11 a.m. start.Â
