Strong defense carried the 3-0 score into the closing minutes of the contest, when Fisher finally got on the board in the 89th minute. It wouldn't be enough, as Ithaca held on in the final two minutes for the 3-1 semifinal victory.
Â
The win sends the Bombers to the conference championship game, marking the third-straight year Ithaca has reached the final round of the E8 Tournament.
