Box Score HOBOKEN, N.J. – The Ithaca College women's soccer team lost a close game with Stevens Saturday afternoon, falling to the Ducks by a score of 1-0 at the De Baun Athletic Complex. Ithaca is now 8-2-0 on the year, with a record of 3-1-0 in conference play. Stevens moves to 7-4-0 overall, and 2-1-0 in the Empire 8.

Four different Bombers recorded a shot in the contest, including
Kelsey King,
Holly Niemiec,
Kristyn Alonzo and
Lauren Steele. Junior goalkeeper
Beth Coppolecchia played the entire contest, making a season-high six saves on seven Stevens' shots.

The only goal of the contest came in the 28th minute. Stevens took advantage of a shot from 20-yards out, beating Coppolecchia for the 1-0 lead. Neither team was able to score again, giving Stevens the 1-0 win over the Bombers.

Ithaca is back on the road for its next contest, as the Bombers head to Utica to take on the Pioneers on Saturday, Oct. 11. Scheduled start time is 12 p.m.Â
