Box Score ITHACA, N.Y. – The No. 25 Ithaca College women's soccer team defeated No. 21 Nazareth late Sunday afternoon, dropping the Golden Flyers in overtime by a score of 2-1 at Carp Wood Field. The win improves the Bombers' overall record to 10-2-0, with a mark of 5-1-0 in the conference.

Beth Coppolecchia stopped 4-of-5 Nazareth shots in the victory. The Bombers had the advantage in shots, recording 15 to Nazareth's one. They also held a slight edge with six corner kicks to the Golden Flyers' five.
After a scoreless opening half, King opened the scoring with her 10th goal of the season in the 69th minute. King stole the ball on the far side goal line, before faking inside on the Nazareth keeper. King brought the ball back out towards the goal mouth, and slid a shot through the keeper's legs for the 1-0 Ithaca lead.
The Golden Flyers would score to even the contest in the closing minutes, sending a high near side shot past Coppolecchia at 83:20. Neither team scored in the final seven minutes, sending the game to overtime.
Just under six minutes into extra time, King once again took possession and found Woychick streaking in on the far side. Woychick took the pass across the box, and beat the keeper to the bottom left corner for the goal. Woychick's tally marked her second game winner of the season, and ended the contest with a score of 2-1 in Ithaca's favor.
The Bombers return to action on Saturday, Oct. 18 in a road battle with St. John Fisher. Start time is scheduled for 2 p.m.
