Becca Lewis didn't allow a goal in the final 13:16 of play. Ithaca outshot the Saxons, 34-3, with the Bombers owning a 19-1 shots-on-goal advantage. Ithaca also had eight corner kicks, while Alfred was held to zero.
Callanan got on the board first for the Bombers, netting her third goal of the season in the 33rd minute to give Ithaca the 1-0 advantage. Callanan's tally marked her third-straight game with a goal.
King added to the Ithaca lead with a goal early in the second half. King's tally in the 48th minute marked her conference-leading seventh goal of the season, and gave the Bombers a 2-0 lead. Alfred was unable to record a shot on goal in the second frame, giving Ithaca its third-straight victory.
The Bombers are back in action on Sunday, Sept. 29 in a home game against Farmingdale at Carp Wood Field. The match is set to begin at 1 p.m.
