ITHACA, N.Y. - The Ithaca College women's swimming & diving team recorded a 196-104 victory over Rochester on its senior day dual-meet Saturday at the Athletics & Events Center Aquatics Pavilion. Diver
Korie Fackler set pool records on both boards and Ithaca swimmers posted victories in nine events. Ithaca is 10-0 on the year and swims at Alfred next weekend.
Fackler's scores of 272.70 on the 1-meter board and 279.05 on 3-meter were pool records and also met the NCAA qualifying standard.
Kloe Boeckel scored 274.40 and
Emily Warfle totaled 267.15 on the 3-meter board and also met the NCAA standard.
Carly Jones won three individual events. She won the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:08.32, the 200 breast in 2:27.97 and the 200-yard individual medley in 2:12.51. She was also on the 400-yard medley relay with
Kylie Bangs,
Madi Sherry and
Megan Buisman that won in 4:04.52.
Bangs also won the 100-yard backstroke (1:00.58) and 200 back (2:11.56).
Shelby Pascoe won the 1,000-yard freestyle in 11:02.49 and
Elizabeth Gawrys won the 500 free in 5:21.75.
Ithaca capped the meet with a win in the 400-yard freestyle relay in 3:42.18 by the team of Gawrys,
Megan Zart,
Lauren Cox and Buisman.
It was the final regular-season home dual meet for 12 Ithaca College seniors and graduate students --
