Box Score Scranton, Pa. -- The Ithaca College women's soccer team (3-0-0), ranked 17th nationally, remained unbeaten with a 3-2 win at Scranton (0-2-2) Saturday. The Bombers rallied from deficits of 1-0 and 2-1, winning on a goal by senior Rachel Palladino in the second overtime.
Palladino's goal -- her second of the season -- came with 5:35 left in the second overtime session. She sent a 15-yard shot from the top of the box into the bottom right corner of the net. Senior
Julie Winn, who scored Ithaca's first goal, picked up the assist on Palladino's game-winner.
Palladino now has 49 goals and 117 points in her career; she's second on the program's all-time list in both categories.
Junior
Anna Gray notched her second goal of the season, forcing overime by knotting the score at 2-all in the 85th minute with a direct kick from 22 yards out that went through the hands of the Royals' goalkeeper. Both of Gray's goals this fall have come on direct kicks in the final 10 minutes of regulation.
Winn headed in a goal in the 36th minute to even the score at 1-1, directing a ball played by
Amanda Callanan. Winn's three points raised her career total to 50, making her the 19th Bomber to reach that mark.
Senior
Becca Salant made seven saves, including one in the 88th minute and two in overtime.
Ithaca plays a 1 p.m. match at Marywood Sunday.
