Just 6:26 into the match, the Bombers (2-0) took a 1-0 lead. Ithaca was awarded a corner kick and Julie Winn sent the ball into the box. In the 19th minute, Rachael Palladino drilled a shot from 30 yards out into the top left corner of the goal to give the Bombers a 2-0 lead.  Jamie Ruddy stretched the Ithaca lead to three in the 32nd minute. Ruddy forced a Babson turnover right in front of the goal, and fired into the back of the net.
