Potsdam, N.Y. -- The Ithaca College women's basketball team (4-0) stayed unbeaten with a 66-26 throttling of host Potsdam (2-2) Sunday. The Bombers are off to the program's best start since the 1997-98 team opened 6-0 and the 26 points allowed to the Bears marked the lowest total an opponent has mustered against Ithaca since the Bombers beat Cazenovia 66-24 on Jan. 11, 2000.

The Bombers scored the game's first 14 points and didn't give up a basket for the opening 10:25; Ithaca led 22-5 by that point. The Bears trailed 32-7 at the half (making just two of 19 tries) and didn't reach double digits until four minutes into the second period.

Every Bomber but one played at least seven minutes in the rout, with senior guard Jessica Farley (South Dayton/Pine Valley Central) leading the team with 18 points, five rebounds and three steals in 25 minutes of play. Sophomore guard Jenn Escobido (Norwich Free Academy/Lisbon, Conn.) added 15 points -- one short of her career high -- making all five of her shots from the floor and five of six free-throw attempts. Junior forward Devin Shea (St. Basil Academy/Huntingdon, Pa.) added 10 points and three assists in 20 minutes of play.

Sophomore guard Kathryn Campbell (Wall/Spring Lake, N.J.) matched a career-high with seven assists and freshmen Geena Brady (Onondaga Central/Syracuse) and Ally Mnich (Holmdel/Holmdel, N.J.) both tied their career-high totals, scoring six and four points, respectively.

Ithaca hosts Cortland Tuesday at 6 p.m.
