Rochester, N.Y. – The Ithaca women's soccer team (9-2-3, 5-1-1 Empire 8) played to a 0-0 tie at Nazareth (8-2-4, 5-0-2 Empire 8) on Saturday afternoon.

The Bombers, who had not been held scoreless this season, last knotted at 0-0 against the Golden Flyers in the 2010 regular season. 

Junior Becca Salant (Holliston/Holliston, Mass.) recorded six stops for the Bombers in the shutout.

Ithaca outshot Nazareth, 19-11, and put 13 on goal to the Golden Flyers' six. Each team recorded four corner kicks.

Junior Rachael Palladino (Lansing/Lansing) laced four shots on goal, while three other Bombers had two on point.

The Bombers will next play at Oneonta on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 3 p.m.
