ITHACA, N.Y. - The #13 Ithaca women's soccer team (5-2-0) yielded a first-half goal, and that was the only score of the game in a 1-0 victory for Cortland (4-2-2) Saturday afternoon at Carp Wood Field.
Ithaca held a 20-8 advantage in shots, firing 10 toward the net in each half. Cortland's goalkeeper made eight saves. Ithaca goalkeeper
Jessica Platt (Monument Mountain/New Marlborough, Mass.) made five saves.
The Bombers return to action Wednesday when they host Elmira at 4 p.m. Ithaca will look to remain perfect in Empire 8 play, as they carry a 2-0-0 conference record into the contest.
