ESPN's Karl Ravech will be the featured speaker at Ithaca's inaugural Coaches Recognition Banquet June 4. The event caps a day that also includes the 17th Annual Butterfield/MVP Golf Classic.

Ravech, a 1987 Ithaca graduate, has been a host of ESPN's Baseball Tonight since 1995 and a SportsCenter host since 1993.

The golf tournament at Cornell University's Robert Trent Jones Golf Course, includes 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. start times plus cart, gifts, skins game, putting contests and more as well as the live auction. Absentee bids for the live auction will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 3. Items include club-level seats and field passes to a Tampa Bay Buccaneers home game; tickets to a Washington Nationals home game; tickets to the 2011 Division I Women's Basketball Final Four, and much more. The Coaches Recognition Banquet begins at 6:30 p.m. at Ithaca College's Emerson Suites.
