ITHACA, N.Y.--Ithaca fell to Nazareth (25-12) 25-19, 25-22, 25-18 to close play at the New York State Regional Challenge on Sunday. The Bombers went 2-2 in the tournament, finishing in fourth place. The two teams will meet up Saturday in the semifinal round of the Empire 8 Championship Tournament.

Senior Corinna Doctor (Skaneateles/Skaneateles) was named to the all-tournament team. She picked up 22 assists against the Golden Flyers and tallied 114 on the weekend. She also added 38 digs and five aces in the Bombers' four matches.

Senior Rachel Busch (Hoover/North Canton, Ohio) had a team-high 12 kills against Nazareth. She also led the team with 45 kills in the tournament.

Juniors Taylor Horton (Lakeridge/Lake Oswego, Ore.) and Tina Orlandini (Flintridge Sacred Heart/Altadena, Calif.) each had a pair of aces in the match. Orlandini also had a team-best 19 digs, with Horton and Busch each chipping in seven.

Match times for the Empire 8 tournament will be announced later this week.
