Rochester, N.Y. – The volleyball team improved to 13-4 on the season and 2-1 in conference play after routing Alfred, 3-0 (30-10, 30-8, 30-6), at the Empire 8 Crossover, hosted by St. John Fisher. Sophomore middle hitter Jen Heberton (Darien/Darien, Conn.) led the Bomber’s with 15 kills and a .700 hitting percentage (15K, 1E, 20TA).

 

Sophomore outside hitter Rachel Busch (Hoover/North Canton, Ohio) added 11 kills and had a .688 hitting percentage (11 kills, 0 errors, 16 attempts) and sophomore setter Corinna Doctor (Skaneateles/Skaneateles) had 39 assists and five service aces.

 

The Bombers will close out this round of crossover play against Stevens Institute of Technology Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
