Hoboken, N.J. -- The men’s basketball team fell to #21 Stevens Institute of Technology this afternoon, 83-74. The Bombers are 4-2 on the season, 2-1 in the Empire 8.
Junior guard
Sean Leahy (West Genesee/Syracuse) led the Bombers with 21 points, making three of his six three point attempts. Classmate
Brendan Rogers (Liverpool/Liverpool) tallied 17 points, including two three pointers and three free throws.
Ithaca led 42-38 at the half, but Stevens scored 45 points in the second half for the win.
Senior
Dominic Scanlon (Oswego/Oswego) had 11 points in the game and sophomore
Tom Brown (Bayport-Blue Point/Bayport) had nine points and seven rebounds.
The Bombers host St. Lawrence on Friday, December 14, at 7 p.m.
