Ithaca, N.Y. -- The men's basketball team lost to Division I Cornell 80-47. The Bombers drop to 4-5 and Cornell improves to 7-7. Sophomore Sean Burton (Notre Dame/Utica) lead the Bombers with 10 points.

Junior Dominic Scanlon (Oswego/Oswego) and sophomore Jeff Bostic (Geneva/Geneva) each recorded seven points. Bostic lead the team with six rebounds and three block shots. Juniors Brian Joe (Southside/Elmira) and Scott Ruffrage (Utica Notre Dame/Whitesboro) each had a team-high two steals.

The Bombers open Empire 8 play against Elmira Tuesday at 8 p.m.
