Ithaca, N.Y. – The field hockey team fell to 4-5 on the season and 3-1 in the Empire 8 after a 1-0 loss in double overtime to Nazareth. The Golden Flyers improved to 2-6 on the season and 1-2 in conference play.

 

Senior goalie Andrea Baraiola made five saves in taking the loss. Junior back Leslie Robinson had a pair of defensive saves for the Bombers, who outshot Nazareth 16-8 and had a 21-7 advantage in penalty corners.

 

The Bombers return to action Tuesday when they travel to #10 William Smith at 5 p.m.
