ITHACA, N.Y. – The volleyball team lost to visiting Rochester 3-2 (24-30, 30-24, 22-30, 30-27, 15-13), dropping their record to 10-9 while the Yellowjackets improved to 13-3. Freshman
Corinna Doctor (Skaneateles/Skaneateles) had a career-high 66 assists with 17 digs for the Bombers.
Junior
Katie Hause (St. Mary’s/Colorado Springs, Colo.) led the team with 41 digs and added 21 kills. Classmate
Amanda Hubbard (Horseheads/Horseheads) notched 32 digs and 24 kills. Junior
Andria Mynders (Minisink Valley/Port Jervis) had 18 kills and 23 digs and classmate
Mary Schaefer (Eden/Eden) added 30 digs for the Ithaca.
The Bombers will participate in the Oneonta Invitational this Friday and Saturday. They will open the tournament against Fredonia at 4 p.m.
