ITHACA, N.Y. -- The 11th-ranked men's lacrosse team ended its season with a 17-10 loss to #12 Nazareth in the ECAC Upstate NY final. The Bombers finish with 12-5 record.

The Golden Flyers scored nine straight goals -- including the first eight of the second half -- to break open a 7-7 game. Ithaca scored three straight goals during the third and fourth quarters to close within 16-10 but got no closer.

Sophomore Logan Bobzien (Arapahoe/Littleton, Colo.) scored three goals to lead the Bombers and classmate Mike Nowak (Ballston Spa/Ballston Spa) recorded a career-best three assists. Senior Brandon Geluso (Harborfields/Greenlawn) picked up a goal and two assists and senior Doug Lumb (Auburn/Auburn) added two goals.

Junior Dennis Butler (Pleasantville/Pleasantville) made 14 saves; freshman Collin Meadow (Downington East/Downington, Pa.) made two saves and freshman Ben Connery (Homer/Homer) collected four.
