Stacy Pelesz (Hudson/Livingston) led off the bottom of the second inning with a single and later scored on an error with the only run the Bomber would need. Ithaca added a pair of runs in the bottom of the sixth on a two-RBI single from sophomore second baseman
Jessica Stangarone (Brewster/Brewster) that plated classmate
Erica Cutspec (Fort Plain/Fort Plain) and
Pelesz for the 3-0 final.
Pelesz was one-for-three in the game with two runs scored and two stolen bases. Stangarone was one-for two with two RBIs.
The Bombers will next take on Bluffton at 6 p.m. in the final spring break game for both teams.
