2007: Stangarone, a second-team all-region selection, started all 44 games at second base and hit a career-best .374 with 49 hits, including a team-best eight triples, 25 runs scored and 20 RBI. She was a first-team all-conference selection after batting .389 in 12 Empire 8 games. Stangarone had 14 hits with two doubles, three triples, nine RBI and 12 runs scored. She had at least one hit in 34 games this season and had 13 multi-hit games. Stangarone was named to the all-tournament team at the NCAA regional after batting .308 with two runs scored.
2006: Stangarone, a first-team Empire 8 all-star, started all 47 games at second base, batting .351 with 47 hits, 32 runs scored, 27 RBI and a team-leading 19 stolen bases. She also had a .969 fielding percentage with 98 putouts and 88 assists. She registered two hits and drove in a career-high three runs in wins over Maryville, Capital and Utica during the regular season and was three-for-three with an RBI and two runs scored in the Empire 8 title game against the Pioneers. She was named the Empire 8 Player of the Week once and was an Empire 8 Presidents' List selection following the fall semester.
2005: Stangarone earned first-team NFCA Northeast Region honors, first-team ECAC Upstate New York honors and first-team Empire honors. She ranked second on the team with a .315 batting average, 47 hits, 30 runs, 23 RBI and 60 total bases. Stangarone led the Bombers with four triples and had 13 stolen bases. She did not commit an error in 184 chances, collecting a team-high 89 assists. She was named to the all-tournament team at the College World Series. Stangarone had 13 multi-hit games and a 10-game hitting streak, during which she batted .485 with 16 hits, 10 RBI and 10 runs.
High School: Stangarone played for Michelle Gosh at Brewster High School where she was named to the all-region team and was first-team all-state her senior year. She was also inducted into the Brewster High School Hall of Fame.
Personal: A physical therapy major, she is the daughter of Robert and MaryAnn Stangarone.
