ITHACA, N.Y. -- The volleyball team defeated Elmira 3-0 (30-20, 30-17, 30-22) to improve to 16-9 overall and 2-0 in conference play. Junior outside hitter Amanda Hubbard (Horseheads/Horseheads) led the Bombers with a match-high 14 kills and four service aces.

Junior middle hitter Katie Hause (St. Mary's/Colorado Springs, Colo.) registered 13 kills, 20 digs and three blocks. Freshman setter Corinna Doctor (Skaneateles/Skaneateles) set 36 assists with 11 digs and junior outside hitter Andria Mynders (Minisink Valley/Port Jervis) added 11 kills and 15 digs. Hubbard notched 24 digs to complete her 15th double-double of the season.

Ithaca returns to action at this weekend Cortland Invitational. The Bombers open the tournament against Western Connecticut Friday at 7 p.m.
