Field Hockey Falls to #9 William Smith

Bryce Meck had two goals and an assist for the Bombers.
Geneva, N.Y. – The field hockey team fell to 4-6 on the season after a 5-3 loss at #9 William Smith. Senior midfielder Bryce Meck (Mechanicsburg/Mechanicsburg, Pa.) scored two goals with assist against the Herons (9-1).
 
Junior back Leslie Robinson  (Ocean City/Ocean City, N.J.) added her fist goal of the season and made a pair of defensive saves for the Ithaca. Senior goalie Andrea Baraiola (Mark T. Sheehan/Wallingford, Conn.) made a season-high 17 saves.
 
The Bombers return to action Saturday when they travel to Stevens Institute of Technology at noon for an Empire 8 contest. It will be the first-ever meeting between the two teams.
