Fredonia, N.Y. - The Bombers competed at Fredonia Saturday, sweeping Case Western Reserve (144-90) and Fredonia (164-78). Freshman Lauren Botterbusch (Dallastown/York, Pa.) won two events for Ithaca (5-3-1), posting victories in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:31.55) and the 400-yard individual medley (4:55.23). Her time in the 200-yard breaststroke set a new Fredonia pool record.

 

Junior Nikki Gundersen (Hollis-Brookline/Brookline, N.H.) added a win in the 100-yard freestyle (55.83). She also finished second in the 200-yard freestyle (2:00.34).  Sophomore Jovanna Hart (Bradford Area/Bradford, Pa.) took first place in the 50-yard freestyle (26.05) and also finished second to Gundersen in the 100-yard freestyle, recording a time of 56.23.
