Montclair, N.J. -- The Bombers closed out the regular season with a 20-5 win at Montclair State. Freshman catcher Rob Raux (Frankfort/Ilion) went four-for-four with three RBI’s and senior second baseman Marty O’Boyle (Verona/Verona, N.J.) tied a school record by scoring five runs. O’Boyle collected three hits. Freshman first baseman Eric Ferguson (Columbia/East Greenbush) drove in four runs and sophomore outfielder Jeremy Peters (Thomas R. Proctor/Utica) added three RBI’s. Senior Tom O’Connor (Weedsport/Weedsport) earned the win, allowing two earned runs in six innings. The win was the 22nd of his career, matching Chris Gill for sixth on the program’s career list.
