Kelly Robichaud (East Catholic/Vernon, Conn.) of the nationally-ranked Ithaca College softball team collected a pair of multi-hit games last week as the No. 19 Bombers swept Union College in their only doubleheader of the week.

Robichaud combined to go 4-for-6 overall with three homeruns, four runs scored, four RBI and a stolen base as Ithaca improved to 29-7 on the season.

In the opening game, the senior catcher clubbed two homeruns before hitting another in the nightcap. Robichaud leads the conference with 10 homers.

Softball will return to action at 12 p.m. on Friday as it hosts the 2016 Empire 8 Championship at Kostrinsky Field.  The top-seeded Bombers will take on fourth-seeded Alfred while St. John Fisher and Utica will do battle in the second semifinal pairing.
