Koppel was named Outstanding Field Athlete at the Empire 8 championships after winning the long jump (5.38 meters) and 55-meter hurdles (8.60) and placing second in the triple jump (10.80 meters) and high jump (1.63 meters). She qualified for the ECAC Championships in all four events.
