Biography

2017-18: Wetzel did not compete during his first season with the program, still recovering an injury sustained during his prep career.

High School: Wetzel was a four-year letter-winner at Queen of Peace during his prep career. He was a four-time District Champion, four-time Regional Place Finisher, and a two-time Regional Champion during his career. Wetzel qualified for the NJSIAA Championships twice during his career, finishing eighth as a junior and fifth as a senior. He also wrestled for Team New Jersey.

Personal: Ray is the son of Ray and Jacqui Wetzel.
