Biography

2009-10: DeFreitas won three bouts in his rookie season with the Bombers. He pinned his first collegiate opponent (in the opening round of the Ithaca Invitational).

High School: A 2009 graduate of Westfield High School, DeFreitas was coached by Glen Kurz, a 1995 Ithaca graduate and four-year Bomber wrestler. He lettered four times and helped his team to a district title.

Personal: An athletic training major, he is the son of Michael and Caroline DeFreitas.
