Biography

2005-06: Dwork won nine matches, highlighted by a fourth-place finish in the 157-pound bracket at the Williams’ Williamstown Invitational and four wins at the season-opening Ithaca Invitational. Wrestling at 149 pounds at the Ithaca Invitational he recorded two pins and posted two wins over seeded opponents. He recorded three falls and his first career dual-meet win. Dwork was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List following the fall semester.
 
2004-05: Dwork posted three wins at the Empire Open, including a victory over the tournament’s fifth seed and winning by fall in the second round. He was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List following the fall semester.
 
2003-04: Dwork recorded a fourth-place finish at the Alfred State Invitational. He opened his career by pinning an opponent from Cortland at the season-opening Ithaca Invitational. He was named to the Empire 8 Presidents’ List following the fall and spring semesters.
 
High School: A 2003 graduate of Newton North High School, Dwork was coached by John Stanlo. He placed fourth at the state meet and was the sectional runner-up.
 
Personal: A mathematics and economics major, he is the son of David Dwork and Carrie Johnson.
