Biography

2004-05: Herzig won three times at the season-opening Ithaca Invitational, posting a major decision and winning twice by decision.
 
2003-04: Herzig earned runner-up honors at the Jefferson Community College Invitational. He went 4-2 at the season-opening Ithaca Invitational. He won his dual-meet debut, recording a major decision against an opponent from New York University. Herzig also collected a dual-meet win in the victory over #21 Trinity at the Cliff Keen National Duals.
 
2002-03: Herzig redshirted as a freshman.
 
High School: Herzig wrestled at Lowville Academy. A two-time state runner-up, he won two Section III titles and four league championships.
 
Personal: A physical education major, he is the son of Bradley and Joyce Herzig.
