Biography
2010-11: Brown earned All-NYSCTC honors in the pentathlon at the indoor championships as a freshman. She tallied indoor season-best performances of 8.55 in the 60-meter dash, 28.62 in the 200 dash, 2:53.86 in the 800 run, 9.24 in the 55 hurdles, 10.03 in the 60 hurdles, 1:51.94 in the 800 relay, 10:04.78 in the 3,200 relay, 1.40 meters in the high jump, 4.85 meters in the long jump, 7.94 meters in the shot put and 2,471 points in the pentathlon.
High School: A 2010 graduate from Vernon-Verona Sherrill High School, Brown was coached by Todd Bauer. Brown was a sectional champion in the 110-meter high hurdles and owns two school records. She also lettered in soccer and volleyball.
Personal: A speech-language pathology and audiology major, she is the daughter of Timothy and Andrea Brown.
