Biography
2009-10: During the indoor season of her junior year, Schloss competed in three different events. She recorded season-best times of 11:03.14 and 19:05.93 in the 3,000- and 5,000-meter runs, respectively, at the NYSCTC Indoor Championships and completed a 5:36.96 mile run at the Tufts Invitational. She also competed in three distance races during the outdoor season and tallied season-best marks of 5:14.22 in the 1,500 run, 19:33.74 in the 5,000 run and 40:35.03 in the 10,000 run.
2008-09: Schloss placed fourth at the outdoor NYSCTC Championships in the 10,000-meter run to garner all-state accolades. She ran 42:01.93.
2007-08: Schloss was named to the all-NYSCTC team after placing eight in the 10,000-meter run at the state meet with a time of 43:56.62. She also placed ninth in the 5,000-meter run at the outdoor Empire 8 meet with a time of 21:08.62.
High School: A 2007 graduate of Canterbury High School, Schloss was coached by Gregg Osborn. She earned her team’s most improved award and received honorable mention to the all-state academic team.
Personal: An art history major, she is the daughter of Robert and Meshell Schloss. She is also a member of Ithaca's cross country team.
