Biography

2009-10: Outdoors, Welch competed in the 100 and 200 dashes. She clocked season-best times of 14.40 in the 100 and 30.28 in the 200. She did not compete during the indoor season.

High School: A 2009 graduate from Holy Redeemer High School, Welch lettered in track & field and field hockey.

Personal: An occupational therapy major, she is the daughter of Larry and Marisue Newman.
