Wallenbeck has coached with the with the track & field program since 2001. She works primarily with the long jumpers and triple jumpers.
A graduate of the 2010 NCAA Women's Coaches Academy, Wallenbeck graduated from Ithaca, where she was a member of the track & field and volleyball teams. She spent eight seasons as a varsity track & field coach at Spencer Van Etten High School. Wallenbeck also served as an assistant coach for the volleyball team.
Her father is women’s cross country and assistant track & field coach Bill Ware, a member of the Ithaca Athletic Hall of Fame. She and her husband, Jeffrey, have a son, Connor.
