Biography
2005-06: Cook competed in the butterfly and freestyle events as a freshman. She placed fourth in the 1,000-yard freestyle in the Bombers’ win over Rensselaer and recorded a pair of seventh-place finishes in the 100-yard butterfly against Rochester and Union. Cook recorded a personal best time of 2:11.51 in the 200-yard freestyle against Hamilton.
High School: A 2005 graduate of Liverpool High School, Cook was coached by Zac Mekker. She was a four-year letter winners as a member of the swimming & diving team and served as team captain her senior year. Cook was the team biathlon champion three years in a row and was a two-time first-team all-league performer. She was also a first-team all-league selection in both indoor and outdoor track & field teams.
Personal: A student in the exploratory program, she is the daughter of David and Cathy Cook.
