Biography
2005-06: Oberg was a two-time all-state and three-time all-conference performer and placed eighth on the team with 159.50 points. She won NYSWCAA and Empire 8 titles with the 200- and 400-yard freestyle relay teams and also won the conference title with the 800-yard freestyle relay team. Oberg placed in the top 15 at the state championships in the 50-, 100- and 200- yard freestyle, finishing 13thh, 12th and 14th, respectively, and recorded five top-three finishes.
2004-05: Oberg excelled on the 200- and 400-yard freestyle relay teams. The 200 team was the Empire 8 Champion and finished fourth at the NYSCTC championships with a time of 1:41.27. The 400 team was Empire 8 runner-up and finished third at the NYSCTC championships with a time of 3:40.63. She was also a member of the 400-yard medley relay team that placed fifth at the NYSCTC championships with a time of 4:09.14.
High School: Oberg swam for Patrick Bobbi at Southington High School where she was named MVP in 2000 and 2003. She was also on the 200 medley relay team that broke the school and conference record and that placed sixth in the state.
Personal: An environmental studies major, she is the daughter of Karl and Terri Oberg.
