Aubrey Syron returns to the Ithaca College men's and women's swimming & diving program for the second season at the start of the 2024-25 season a graduate assistant. Syron is a graduate student in the Exercise Science program in the Mental Performance concentration on the Thesis and CMPC track.

Syron graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Baldwin Wallace University in 2023. She competed at the Division III level for four years (‘19-‘23) on the Women’s Swim and Dive team at BW. Syron earned Dean’s List academic standings in ‘20, ‘21, and ‘22, as well as varsity letters for the four years of her athletic career.
She qualified for finals in the 100-yard backstroke (’20, ’21); 200-yard backstroke (’20, ’21); 200-yard IM (’22, ’23); 100-yard butterfly (’22, ’23); and 200-yard butterfly (’22, ’23). She earned podium in the 100-yard butterfly (’23); 200-yard butterfly (’22, ’23); 200-yard Free Relay (’23); 200 & 400-yard Medley Relay (’23). Syron was also an assistant swim and dive coach for Berea High School, Ohio (Division I) in both her junior and senior college years. During those two years, she coached 15 swimmers who made District finals.
Syron was part of the BW Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, the Alan Kolp student-athlete leadership cohort, and Morgan’s Message (student mental health support) as a student-athlete.
