2013: An All-Empire 8 second-team selection, Avery was Ithaca’s Empire 8 Sportswoman of the Year selection. She tallied 23 points as a senior on 14 goals and nine assists. She had a season-best hat trick on April 27 in a win over Hartwick. Starting each of the Bombers’ 18 games, Avery ranked atop the team with 22 caused turnovers and was second with 33 ground balls. 2012: Avery started each of the Bombers’ 17 games during her junior campaign. She tallied 18 points on 14 goals and four assists. She had a season-best four-goal performance in a 23-7 victory at Hartwick. Additionally, Avery added 27 draws, 21 ground balls and 16 caused turnovers. 2011: Avery started each of the Bombers’ 18 games as a sophomore. She scored 11 goals and added five assists to rank sixth on the team with 16 points. Avery had 22 ground balls, 22 draw controls and 14 caused turnovers during the season. 2010: A first-team Empire 8 selection as a freshman, Avery started each of the Bombers’ 17 games. The rookie midfielder recorded four two-goal games and scored 16 throughout the year. She tallied season-highs of three draws and two caused turnovers. Career Statistics

High School: A 2009 graduate of Brien McMahon High School, Avery was coached by Tori Sullivan. She earned four letters in lacrosse and was an all-conference and all-state player. Sullvian also lettered in soccer and track & field.

Personal: A business administration major, she is the daughter of Chris and Karen Avery.
