Kim Suddaby has served as a long-time assistant for the gymnastics program as a volunteer and part-time coach. Suddaby has been involved with collegiate gymnastics for over 30 years, and has also served as a part-time track & field coach while at Ithaca.
Suddaby spent 28 years as a physical education teacher at Watkins Glen and retired in 2023. She also served as a diving coach at Watkins Glen for six seasons.
She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in physical education from SUNY Cortland. As a gymnast at Cortland, she was a NCGA All-American on beam and was inducted into the NCGA Hall of Fame in 2014. Suddaby is also in the Ithaca College Athletic Hall of Fame as she was an assistant coach on the national championship gymnastics team in 1998, which was inducted into the IC Hall of Fame in 2018.
