Biography
2012: Shanley competed in five races during her senior season. She tallied season-best times of 16:57.50 in the 4,000-meter run, 20:53.50 in the 5,000 and 26:34.30 in the 6,000.
2011: Shanley competed in eight races as a junior, earning All-Empire 8 Second-Team honors with a 13th-place finish at the championships. She recorded season-best times of 16:26.30 in the 4,000-meter run, 19:27.00 in the 5,000 and 24:53.00 in the 6,000.
2010: Shanley competed in a pair of 5,000-meter races during her sophomore season recording a season-best performance of 20:40.70 at the Hamilton Invitational.
2009: Shanley earned first-team Empire 8 all-star honors while finishing seventh overall at the Empire 8 Championship with a time of 19:07. She and classmate Jenn Randall were the only freshmen to earn first-team all-conference honors. She placed 67th place at the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championship with a time of 23:56.
High School: A 2009 graduate of Conestoga High School, Shanley was coached by Ryan Comstock. She was named to the all-Main Line team and served as team captain as a senior. Shanley also lettered in track & field.
Personal: An integrated marketing communications major, she is the daughter of Rachel and John Shanley.
